Created to coincide with the launch of the Matt Pomade campaign the Mayhem T-shirt graphic is the work of Australian artist Travis Price. Travis took inspiration from the campaign hero piece a 1929 Lincoln President, an amazing vehicle owned and built by Uppercut Deluxe Ambassador JJ Wessels.
The Mayhem graphic perfectly embodies all the minute details of JJ’s build and translates to a damned good looking t-shirt graphic. If you haven’t already seen the video, do yourself a favour and check it out at uppercutdeluxe.com.
Travis Price grew up in country Victoria Australia, where his interest in skateboard and t-shirt graphics first spawned. After acquiring a degree in Graphic Design from the University of Ballarat, Price moved to Melbourne working in numerous Design Agencies across a diverse range of mediums: print, interactive, publishing, animation and illustration. Now 10 years on and Price has made the transition to be a freelance commercial illustrator, with a growing portfolio of commercial projects for large international brands such as Nike, Santa Cruz, Comverse, Neff and Grand Scheme to name a few.
