Likely the toughest monster we’ve encountered. Uppercut Deluxe Monster Hold has a very thick consistency that people can have a difficult time believing it will spread perfectly throughout the hair. With a pomade as heavy as this, we recommend using shampoo and conditioner in between, and dry your hair and hand thoroughly before applying.
This oil-based pomade will maintain its medium shine and strong hold all day, even in the heat or when you sweat; you can take on the Rockies with style. Its scent is on the light side – with a hint of lemon, so you can top it off with your favorite cologne or aftershave.
Overall, we dig this product. The killer tin design (never seen Frankenstein this handsome) alone is more than enough justification to buy Uppercut Deluxe Monster Hold!
For the founders of Uppercut Deluxe, this product was the ultimate challenge. Time after time very exacting people was complaining that their style just wouldn’t last or that their current hair products just didn’t do the job.
These people were the toughest sort to please – the sort where style is everything and the look is uncompromising. The kind of people that don’t give second chances.
After a long time testing and researching, this super strong wax was born. When they tested for the first time, the boys were genuinely scared at just how good this wax was…hence the name Monster Hold.
