Blues Pills are one of the most exiting young blues rock bands that we've heard in a long time. We love this album. Yes the music is a bit of a throwback to the sound of the 60’s and 70’s, but although the band wears their influences on their sleeves this still sounds fresh and alive. Vocalist Elin Larsson is one of the best young female singers to come along in years and the band, Zack Anderson, Cory Berry, and Dorian Sorriaux all play with an expressive zeal not often found in today’s cookie cutter rock n roll.

There must be something in the water in Sweden as that country continues to pump out some of the best music being made today. This one is highly recommended!
