We can't recall any other artist who has taken on so many varied musical styles on (one) lp! We view this as a welcome asset. From his deep understanding/reworking of Jimi to his own stamp on lighter rock stylings, here we have an artist to watch. Not since Jimmie D Lane, have I heard a fairly current artist remind me so much of Jimi Hendrix. With Gary, there's just this freedom, this natural flow from his brain to his fingers and then to the guitar that comes through for us all to enjoy. Wow! Great! This is the stuff you can't teach. It happens naturally.

Here we have an artist willing and able to break free of all of the trappings/confines of what a record label might try to put on him, thereby choking his artistic freedom. We're glad to hear that this hasn't happened on this particular lp.
