Ace of Spades (1980) is probably Motorhead's best-known and best album; it's everything you want in a heavy metal/speed metal album. Here, the guys offer their best musicianship, lyrics, vocals, and attitude.

Yes, Motorhead is more than a name, it's an attitude. The title track is their most-recognized song to date, and depicts the fast living lifestyle that became their trademark. 
Every band has their day in the sun, and for me, I think this is their best. This album was trailblazing for the speed metal bands that would soon follow, like Metallica and Megadeth, to name a few. That much said, this album is an essential. Highly recommended.
