Hardcore Romance marks the final installment, the 5th album, following the thunderous release of his fourth masterpiece, ‘Birdy,’ back in 2022. This year, he finally decided to release his 5th album with a touch of music that differs significantly from his previous work. This release showcases a more relaxed vibe and infused with the raw essence of the rock melodies that have stirred his soul, peppered with undertones of blues and pop, yet pulsating with the signature drum beat of Pamungkas.
His journey through the creation of this album was one of sincere introspection honesty, from the multitude of emotions in its wake of lyricism, to the meticulous production. Leveraging his strengths as a multi-instrumentalist, he still undertook the recording process alone in his home studio. In this album, Pamungkas entrusted Rhesa Aditya (Endah n Rhesa) from Earhouse Studio to assist him in the mastering process. Their closeness resulted in a seamless collaboration, birthing a new sound of Pamungkas.
